Saab 9-3 Convertible – Last 26 RHD cars up for grabs
The last 26 RHD Saab 9-3 Convertible models – hand finished in Sweden – are now for sale in the UK from £22,750. Back in March – at the same time we reported the Saab Museum had re-opened – we were also able to report that ANA, the Saab dealers in Trollhatten, have bought up the part-made cars left on the Saab production line and were going to finish them off and put them up for sale. Fortunately for UK Saab lovers, 26 of those cars were RHD Saab 9-3 Convertibles - including the very last limited edition Saab 9-3 Independence – and they have now found their way to the UK and are up for grabs.
Transportation Design students at Germany's Pforzheim University displayed their work in the school's spring Transportation Design degree show in February, one of the two graduation shows per year. The exhibition included work from graduating Diploma and Masters students, projects by the 5th and 7th semester students, as well as work from students in the earlier stages of the Diploma and Masters courses. Lord Mandelson is the man charged with finding ways to fund UK Car purchases (yes, he of the dodgy mortgage debacle – at least he should know a few tricks!) as the credit crunch has dried up funding, leading to an unprecedented drop in new car sales in the UK. Mandelson is due to make a statement in the Lords just after 3pm today, outlining the help the government is going to offer to ailing car makers. Central to this package is expected to be a funding channel directly from the Bank of England to inject liquidity in to the car financing sector.
